High operating temperatures

PTFE Sheet is famous for the fact that it has an exceptionally low co-efficient of friction and has been described as been in the Guinness World Records as one of the lowest friction of any man made material. This means that any low friction slide ways or wear blocks will provide a free running operation.
Food Contact
PTFE Sheet is suitable for contact with food processing or food preparation. This is because PTFE Sheet has an FDA approval and is non toxic. This is important to many food processing companies where food compatibility is important.
Electrical Insulation
When companies require a high electrical insulator, PTFE Sheet can provide insulation to a much higher level than most other engineering plastics and many of the current high end plastics insulation materials will often contain PTFE Sheet.
